K, H, & little J Fall Mini-Portrait Session

I met up with "K" & "H" and their little guy "J" about half way through my day of shooting.  Little Mr. J is just about the perfect age for baby portraits as he was steady to sit, but he wasn't crawling away from me yet! Their family was very sweet, and I just loved watching K & H as they interacted with J, and tried to get him to smile for me.  Having your portrait taken is very serious business, so "J" was sure to keep a close eye on me, and only cracked a few smiles before he relaxed, safely back in his mama's arms.  It was a fun shoot, and we even had a visit from one of the ducks!

My last session on Saturday was with little Mr. "L" and his beautiful mama "J".  Mr. L is just about the right age to run as far and fast from the camera as possible, but instead he was the perfect model.  With a smile that could make anyone melt, he made our session together fly by.  Both L and J were so much fun to shoot, and the love between them was hard to miss!  Thank you for braving a no-nap day to meet me at the park, it was wonderful to meet you!

Summer Fun with Mother and Daughter

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy Emma and her beautiful daughter Amme at a local park, and to take advantage of this beautiful Summer weather. Amme was such a cutie, and we had a great time walking around the park.  What fun!

Back in the groove!

After taking some time away from photography, I'm finally back to it!  My little one is finally old enough to allow me a break, and so I'm thrilled to get out and start taking photos again!  I had lots of fun during my "sabbatical" shooting photos here and there, thanks to my husband who has played babysitter from time to time, and allowed me to do a few shoots in my off time.  I've unfortunately fallen far behind with my blog, and so I took some time here to play a bit of catch up. I have already done couple of shoots this week, and will be shooting a wedding this weekend, so there will be more updates coming soon!  Keep checking back, and of course I look forward to hearing from you, so leave comments, or contact me directly if you would like to book an appointment!

Beautiful Babies

Ah the sweetness of new babies!  The pregnant sisters that I had the privilege of photographing before gave birth a month apart rather than a day apart, and their babies came out as different as you can imagine.  Both so beautiful, and sweet, and so much fun!  Emma and Isabella were a joy to photograph, and I was glad to spend time with them after they made their grand entrances.

Quick Recap!

Since I hadn't been keeping up a blog before, I thought it might be fun to do a quick recap of some of my clients. The client base I have is quite varied, and allows me to widen my skill set as well as to work with some fabulous people!

Probably my absolutely favorite photography shoots include babies. Babies are so incredibly special, and they change so fast. Ezra was a charming little man, and so much fun to photograph! He was a very serious little guy, but just darling!! I enjoyed spending time with Ezra and his mama at their house to capture him in all of his baby-ness!

Along with photographing babies alone, I also enjoy capturing the entire family! The Parenteaus were a beautiful family with three very lovely children! We were able to utilize an indoor studio to capture their family photos, and to show off their lovely smiles!

Not all families are made up of young children, some are made up of grown up children! I met the Goodwin family at a nearby park, and we had a great time taking photographs of the three brothers and three sisters, as well as an extra husband and daughter! I have to admit, though the indoors are more dependable for weather, the outdoors are so much fun, and the beauty cannot be beat!

Families have to start somewhere, and there's no better place than with a wedding! Nick and Lina had a wonderfully unique wedding aboard a boat! The ceremony was held as we were docked, and then we sailed through the reception. What a fun reception that was! The weather was simply gorgeous, and after the sun went down, the dancing began below deck.

I hope to keep on top of the updates now that I'm off and running with this blog. I look forward to the many events and occasions the demand a photographer! I'm always so blessed to help in capturing these wonderful moments in time!
