Cowichan Valley Wedding

This last weekend was the perfect weekend for a countryside wedding. The sun was shining, the cows were happily grazing in the background, and all was right with the world.  I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Sandy and James on James' father's farm in the Cowichan Valley.  Most of my wedding venues are in town, and this was a wonderful change of scenery!  The wedding itself was a festive occasion, and the reception which followed was a true testament to how much the beautiful couple are loved. The wedding party was exuberant, the children were absolutely delightful, and the bride and groom were completely in love.  It was a beautiful day!

What a beautiful Summer we're having, and what better use of the weather than a gorgeous wedding!  Mike & Sophie were wonderful to work with, and their wedding was so lovely.  The wedding started at historic St. Paul's, followed by photos at Saxe point, and the reception at the Fleet Club.

Summer Fun with Mother and Daughter

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy Emma and her beautiful daughter Amme at a local park, and to take advantage of this beautiful Summer weather. Amme was such a cutie, and we had a great time walking around the park.  What fun!
