Prospect Lake Wedding

After a very long stretch of chilly weather it seems that Summer has finally arrived! "A" and "J" sure picked a gorgeous hot Summer day to tie the knot!

The day started off with the ladies getting ready. It was a warm, but very happy atmosphere, complete with a fuzzy kitten who wanted to be a part of the action!  The wedding took place at Prospect Lake Hall with the Bride & Groom's family and friends in attendance.  After the ceremony we took a quick trip to the lake for wedding party photos before catching some private moments with the bride & groom and returning to the hall for the reception.

 A & J are such a happy couple, and so completely in love! It was a joy to be a part of their day, and to capture this beautiful step in their journey through life together!

 

 

Cowichan Valley Wedding

This last weekend was the perfect weekend for a countryside wedding. The sun was shining, the cows were happily grazing in the background, and all was right with the world.  I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Sandy and James on James' father's farm in the Cowichan Valley.  Most of my wedding venues are in town, and this was a wonderful change of scenery!  The wedding itself was a festive occasion, and the reception which followed was a true testament to how much the beautiful couple are loved. The wedding party was exuberant, the children were absolutely delightful, and the bride and groom were completely in love.  It was a beautiful day!
